Notes of interest:

  • This particular specimen (along with many other plants) is grown underneath an upper shelf of plants in our grow room, 4-6 feet away from the Black Dog LED grow lights, demonstrating the sheer penetration power of our LED lights.
  • All parts of the Alocasia Corazon plant contain calcium oxalate, an irritant which can cause swelling of the throat.
  • If prepared by boiling or processing with acidic fruits, the corm (stem) of the plant is edible and tastes like Taro.
