PhytoMAX LED Grow Lights Now ETL-Certified to UL Safety Standards

Posted on July 30, 2016.
Black Dog LED's PhytoMAX® grow light series has been awarded ETL certification by Intertek, a leading independent testing laboratory, allowing all commercial growing facilities nationwide to utilize this leading line of LED grow lights.
ETL certification attests to the safety and quality standards the PhytoMAX series is built to. Many cities, counties and other jurisdictions require ETL certification for all equipment used in commercial indoor growing operations.
"The PhytoMAX series was designed from the ground up to the highest standards, and we are glad to have the official certification to confirm this. It's a great help to our commercial customers in areas where this certification is required," says Kevin Frender, partner at Black Dog LED.
Black Dog LED's commercial presence is increasing, and ETL certification removes the last barrier for even-wider commercial adoption. In the highly-regulated sectors of the indoor gardening industry such as medical and recreational Cannabis, full certification to UL safety standards is critical. Black Dog LED is already one of the oldest and most respected names in the industry, and this important milestone for the PhytoMAX series will continue the legacy.
